Why the native Office 365 → Google Calendar integration usually breaks

Microsoft 365 (Office 365) publishes calendar feeds with Windows time-zone names (like "W. Europe Standard Time") and timestamps that Google Calendar cannot parse. The result: the calendar either won't add at all, or events show up at the wrong time. CalConverter rewrites the feed into a clean, standards-compliant ICS that Google accepts and keeps refreshing.

How to add it (the reliable way)

  1. 01

    Publish your Outlook calendar

In Outlook on the web, go to Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars, publish the calendar with "Can view all details", and copy the ICS link.

  2. 02

    Convert the link

Paste the ICS link into CalConverter and copy the Google-compatible URL it gives you.

  3. 03

    Subscribe in Google Calendar

In Google Calendar, choose Other calendars → Subscribe from URL, paste the converted URL, and save.

It stays in sync

Google fetches subscribed calendars on its own clock — usually every 8 to 24 hours, with no manual refresh button. CalConverter keeps the converted feed current in the background, so whenever Google does pull it, the events are valid and up to date. You never re-import anything.
